Look for the CFSA Member Seal
CFSA encourages consumers who find themselves in need of a payday advance to look for the CFSA seal. This seal ensures that you are transacting with a provider that adheres to CFSA Best Practices. CFSA member companies adhere to a special code of standards, which were designed to ensure responsible lending practices and protect consumers.
All CFSA member companies are required to CFSA guidelines for displaying the CFSA Member Seal and CFSA Best Practices. Member seals and CFSA Best Practices should be prominently displayed in all store locations as well as provide the CFSA Best Practices brochure to all new customers.
Should you have any concerns about a CFSA member’s adherence to a consumer protection promised by CFSA’s Best Practices, contact CFSA directly at cfsa@multistate.com or call our hotline at 888-572-9329.
Please remember…
Payday advances must be used appropriately and for the purpose for which they were intended—to solve temporary cash-flow problems by bridging the gap between paydays. A payday advance is not a long-term credit solution nor is it appropriate for ongoing financial management purposes.
