CFSA Taps Cable TV and Print Media to Promote Appropriate Use of Payday Advances

In launching its public education campaign, CFSA’s goal is to reach customers and potential customers with a clear message:

“If you are thinking of obtaining a payday advance, use it appropriately.  Borrow only as much as you feel comfortable paying back when due.  Use a reputable provider. And understand that a payday advance is for short-term financial needs only —never a long-term financial solution.”

In so doing, the association has invested in national television and print advertising to spread its message of “responsible use” as broadly as possible.

Produced in both English and Spanish language, television ads are being broadcasted on a number of popular cable network stations, including ESPN, BET, Univision, FOX News, and the Food Network.

In addition, full-page ads will be published in national publications, including USA Today, leading local newspapers across the country, Ebony, Jet Magazine and Black Enterprise.
