Payday Advance Companies Help Customers Build Credit

By simply repaying their bills on time, consumers demonstrate that they are financially responsible. Unfortunately, all of their timely payments are not always reported to traditional credit bureaus making it difficult for many consumers to build solid credit histories.

CFSA member companies care about the financial well being of its customers and supports the creation of alternative credit reporting opportunities that address their needs. That is why CFSA has joined forces with Pay Rent Build Credit (PRBC) to provide members with tools to help payday advance customers rehabilitate or build good credit histories.

Launched in October 2005, CFSA’s partnership with PRBC provides a secure and reliable data network for members to report on-time payday advance payments. The network also allows customers to have their rent and other recurring bill payments included in the automated credit reporting system.

Customers who sign up for the program can obtain an easy to read credit report, the PRBC Reportsm, which outlines accounts monitored by PRBC. Consumers are not charged a fee to enroll or to view their own PRBC credit report.
