CFSA Minority Internship Program

The Community Financial Services Association (CFSA) Minority Internship Program provides minority students with real-life corporate experience in the payday advance industry. As the facilitator of this program, CFSA identifies talented students to hold challenging intern positions at the corporate offices of its member companies.

We work with colleges and universities, particularly Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and institutions with significant Hispanic and Asian populations, to identify graduate and undergraduate students to fill intern positions. As CFSA member companies are headquartered in cities throughout the country, students are recruited from all geographic areas, work a 40-hour week, and receive a stipend based on their classification.

Eligible students are U. S. citizens or legal residents, a member of a racial minority group, and have an overall grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 grading scale. The internship program is open to college juniors, seniors and graduate students majoring in one of the following fields:

  • Business & Finance
  • Marketing
  • Communications/Public Relations/Journalism
  • Information Technology
  • Organizational Management/Human Resources
  • Political Science/Government/Public Affairs
